Rest Home Level Care - including Carer
Support & Respite Care
Trinity Rest Home is a companion to Trinity Hospital. Our Rest Home
offers the security of access to 24 hour registered nurse and care
staff coverage, yet allows residents to maintain their privacy and
dignity with their own single room personalised to their needs -
their own pictures on the walls, their own furniture, television
set or stereo, or computer with internet access. Trinity Rest Home's
facilities and carer support provides a flexibility to meet your
specific needs, so contact us to discuss your individual situation.
Trinity has two large lounge/entertainment rooms.
The Rest Home is spacious and freshly decorated. Natural light pervades the interior and views onto the
garden enhance this tranquil setting.
Trinity is able to provide respite care and carer
support stays (dependent on room availability), and understands the need for family and friends who
are caring for people at home to have regular breaks.
Each room has a nurse call bell by the bed. A public
phone and television is provided for residents. Residents may arrange connections for
a personal television and private telephone line/internet connection at their expense.
You will also find there is a liveliness, warmth and friendliness about the Home that is
clearly a reflection of Trinity values. Each resident is treated
as a unique individual whose life experiences and personal values are to be respected.
Entertainment, exercise and hobbies, and outings are regular events
organised by our recreational personnel. A mobility van with a hoist can transport residents to activities and appointments. There is a place for mobility
scooters, to enable residents to use them as required.
Family and friends are encouraged to visit as often
as possible and, if practical, to take their loved ones out for
coffee or lunch or dinner. Residents can leave the facility at any
time to join their families for annual holidays or to stay with
them for a night or two.
All resident's care and treatment is routinely reviewed
or if indicated by a change in health status.
