Respite Care
Our respite service at Trinity Home provides a welcomed respite to in-home carers, or family members who may need a small break.
Trinity staff positive a stimulating experience for those being looked after. Trinity Home can provide transport to and from home if needed. Our van is fit with a hydraulic lift for wheelchairs.
From arrival, the day is filled with activities including participation in our recreation programme. Diversional therapists provide a wide range of activities on offer including forms of entertainment, bingo, games, exercise, or a sing-along with plenty of social interaction.
You can be assured our friendly and attentive staff will look after the needs of your family member providing a safe and caring environment here at Trinity.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a convenient service offered by Trinity Homes in-house and throughout the wider Hāwera community.
Meals on Wheels is a delivery service commencing from noon that offers nutritious and varying ready-prepped meals designed by a nutritionist. These one course meals include a variety of vegetables and meat that rotate on a six week roster to ensure variety. This also includes a hot or cold dessert.
These meals are prepared in disposable containers for easy dispensation, simply place in oven or reheat in microwave. For those in special circumstances food can be dished out, otherwise those unable to open containers will be assisted by our lovely driver (just ask!).
Frozen meals are also available that can be picked up weekly.

Payment prices can be arranged in accordance with the cost of living index at the discretion of Trinity Home and Hospital, payment is invoiced monthly.
